Primary Service Operations: To authenticate your access, process User Input through our AI, create and provide shareable Google Sheets, manage your subscription, and provide customer support.
Service Improvement and AI Training:With your explicit consent, we may use your User Input and generated recipes in an anonymized and aggregated form for analyzing usage trends and for training and developing our proprietary AI models. All data used for AI training is stripped of personal identifiers. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting privacy@foodtech.guru without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share information only with essential service providers:
Google LLC: For authentication services (Sign-In), AI processing (Gemini API), and Google Sheets hosting.
Firebase (a Google service): For secure cloud hosting and data storage.
Apple Inc. / Google LLC: For subscription payment processing. We do not access your payment information.

Welcome to FoodTechGuru! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "User") and Georgy Bdoyan, operating as FoodTechGuru ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using the FoodTechGuru application (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
 
1. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for all activities under your account.
 
2. Intellectual Property Rights
•               A. Your Content and License to Us: You retain full ownership of your original recipe concepts and creative input ("Your Creative Content"). To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store your User Input to provide the Service to you. You also grant us a perpetual, irrevocable license to use your User Input and Generated Content in a strictly anonymized form for the purpose of training and improving our AI systems.
•               B. Our Content and License to You: We retain all ownership rights to the Service itself, including its code, branding, and the proprietary format, layout, and structure of the generated Google Sheet technical cards (the "Template"). We grant you a license to use the final Generated Content (your recipe in our Template) for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the attribution requirement below.
•               C. Attribution Requirement: If you publicly share or display the Generated Content, you must provide clear attribution to FoodTechGuru and include a functional link to our App Store/Play Store page or website (foodtech.guru).
 
3. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service to: upload unlawful, infringing, or obscene content; attempt to reverse engineer the Service; use automated systems (bots) to access the service; or misuse the service in any way that harms us or other users.
 
4. AI-GENERATED CONTENT - CRITICAL DISCLAIMERS & WARNINGS
READ CAREFULLY. YOUR SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
•               A. NO WARRANTY ON AI OUTPUT: THE GENERATED CONTENT IS CREATED BY ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND IS PROVIDED "AS IS" FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, SAFETY, OR SUITABILITY OF ANY RECIPE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: COOKING INSTRUCTIONS, ALLERGEN INFORMATION, NUTRITIONAL DATA, OR FOOD SAFETY GUIDELINES.
•               B. USER RESPONSIBILITY: YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL RECIPES, ENSURING FOOD SAFETY, CHECKING FOR ALLERGENS, AND USING YOUR OWN JUDGMENT. RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.
•               C. PRICING DISCLAIMERS: INGREDIENT PRICE ESTIMATES ARE BASED ON HISTORICAL DATA AND ARE NOT REAL-TIME. VERIFY ALL COSTS INDEPENDENTLY.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
 
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
 
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for a violation of these Terms. Provisions regarding IP, disclaimers, and limitations of liability shall survive termination.
 
8. Dispute Resolution: Binding Arbitration
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration in Tbilisi, Georgia, rather than in court. Proceedings shall be in English. YOU AGREE TO WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT OR CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION.

Subscription Terms for FoodTechGuru

These Subscription Terms are part of our Terms of Service and govern your subscription to FoodTechGuru.
 
1. Subscription Plans
•               Free Trial: Each new user receives a one-time, lifetime limit of 15 free recipe generations. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent this limit is prohibited.
•               Paid Plans: We offer monthly and 6-month plans providing credits limited recipe generations.
 
2. Pricing and Payment
Subscription prices are displayed in the App in your local currency. All payments are securely processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not handle or store your payment information.
 
3. IMPORTANT - AUTOMATIC RENEWAL NOTICE
YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY RENEW AT THE END OF EACH BILLING CYCLE (MONTHLY OR EVERY 6 MONTHS) UNLESS YOU CANCEL IT AT LEAST 24 HOURS BEFORE THE CURRENT PERIOD ENDS.
 
4. Cancellation Process
You are solely responsible for canceling your subscription through your device's settings.
•               iOS: Go to "Settings" > [Your Name] > "Subscriptions."
•               Android: Open the Google Play Store > "Profile Icon" > "Payments & subscriptions."
Upon cancellation, your premium access will continue until the end of the current paid period.
 
5. Price Changes
We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes. If you do not agree, you must cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect.
 
6. Refund Policy
All transactions are controlled by Apple and Google. We cannot issue refunds directly. All refund requests must be made directly to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store support, and are subject to their policies.
